Southern Palette is a food & drink festival. On Saturday, March 21, 2026, attendees get to sample bites created by talented and award-winning chefs from all over the south. Beverage to sip includes world-renowned products and feature more chefs, more drink options, and more fun!

Tickets go on sale November 1, 2025!

Premium Pass holders will enjoy early entry at 5pm and exclusive merch.
General admission will begin at 6pm.
All ticket holders will enjoy unlimited sampling.
Premium Passes do not include access to the 4TH FLOOR terrace. The terrace is exclusive to sponsors silver & above. If you’re interested in sponsorship, please reach out to Sandy at sandyparfait@lsu.edu.

Southern Palette is taking over Lafayette Park and the Shaw Center for the Art in Downtown Baton Rouge. The entrance to the festival will be located at the Third Street entrance to the Shaw Center.

Parking is available at various downtown parking garages and lots located throughout downtown. There will be free bus transportation that will run attendees who prefer to ride to and from the Queen Casino lot prior to and during the event.

All food & beverage samples and experiences are included with the purchase of a ticket. The Alley Market will feature small batch food products alongside artisans with items to purchase. The participating vendors profit from these sales. The LSU Museum Store will be open for a couple of hours during the event.

Absolutely! We have worked hard to offer more non-alcoholic offerings each year, and our 2026 EXPERIENCE will feature mocktails, specialty teas, flavored milks, specialty coke products, and more!

Southern Palette is a casual event. Wear whatever’s comfortable and be ready to indulge and dance the night away!

No firearms or weapons are permitted.
All bags are subject to search. We recommend carrying a clear bag to move quickly through the line!

Pets are not allowed, but service dogs are fine!

Southern Palette features a wide variety of foods and beverages from all categories. We cannot guarantee that participating chefs and restaurants will prepare dishes without common allergens, including nuts, dairy, gluten, etc. We also cannot guarantee that vegetarian options will be available. We try to indicate on event signage if there is a potential allergen in each dish, but please always ask the chef or vendor whether or not certain ingredients are in the dishes you are going to consume.

Southern Palette is a 21+ event. Ticket holders will be required to present ID at the door. No refunds will be issued for any ticket purchased by an underage buyer.
